I've read on another forum that a guy got his account suspended because namecheap thought his clickbank page was a "phish1ng attempt". I'm not kidding.
Has anyone here used namecheap with Clkbank successfully?

im confused...i only use namecheap for registering domains, i didnt think they would get so involved as to check the pages on your hosting accoutn and see purely if you push clickbank products? But no, that hasnt ever happened to me.

Okay, well I want to go with them for hosting because they're the cheapest and I've read a lot of good things. Maybe that guy was full of BS, I don't know. But if they don't want people promoting Clickbk on their websites I'd like to know

Why don't you just ask em before paying for your hosting. They should give you a straight yes or no answer.
I only use namecheap for domains. Don't know about hosting.

Ive never had problems with their services, but don't know about clickbank products. Contact to the live chat and let us know here.

Thanks, I've sent a ticket (I feel more comfortable doing it this way). I'll let you know what they tell me tomorrow.
OVH is cheaper in the long run for what I want to do but I don't like their privacy policy (you have to put your full contact details on your website, WTF).

I have another host in mind I want to go with if namecheap tells me I'm not welcome. Pretty much the same specs in terms of price.

No, of course they do not care if you make "made for Clickbank" websites. Also, thin sites are not the same as phishing.

Hello,

They've suspended my account because of the same reason, but right now I'm using prewebhost.com and they are allowing to do so.
Using since couple of months without any sort of issue.

Are you serious? This should be written somewhere. Their TOS is a bit "foggy" in my opinion.

You can go live chat with them and personally i tried it and didn't got any problems with them.

I've been told to take my business elsewhere in live chat. Oh well. "It is not allowed to use click-to-pay scheme at websites hosted with Namecheap. "

In what way is clickbank websites "click-to-pay scheme"? This part. I don't get.

Don't ask me, I'm afraid I can't answer that one.
She said "sorry" and that the service wouldn't accommodate my needs since I want to do CB.
Frankly given what I've read about namecheap and CB I'm out.
