Does my website never gain any visitors?

I own a website that publishes tutorials, guides, how-tos, and alternatives on Windows, Android, Mac, iOS, and Web Apps. Whenever I get a new topic with less search volume, many articles are already published on that topic by others (they have a good domain authority). I am struggling to find topics for my blog which generate a decent amount of traffic.

I've started this website as a hobby and using it as a portfolio to try new SEO things. Should I keep this niche or want to give up?

Do you have any ideas or suggestions to discover less explored topics in this niche?

if it's a hobby, keep it! You just need to learn to do SEO correctly and then you'll rank and get traffic because the content is - presumably - of high quality since you care about it since it's your hobby.

If I were to guess I'd say that you're targeting the wrong keywords, which is what most newbies get wrong and never rank their sites. And yeah, the authority of your competitors' domains is a big deal, and since you can't outrank it getting your keyword research right is even more important...

You have 8 articles, none more than 500 words long, on keywords that I consider are not low competition.

Make a video and upload in youtube
Make a ppt and share in pptsites.

you will start getting views.

proper keyword research is most important in SEO, maybe you are targeting the wrong keywords.
 
keep the niche and website.
if you want to explore a new niche, start a new site.
 
Do some YouTube videos about your services and just put your site name in the description, this will work.
 
You should target keywords with low keyword difficulty, not low search volume. There are tons of keywords out there for almost every niche with high search volume but low competition. Yes, they will be very broad and on the top of the sales funnel but you can then steer your visitors to your money pages.

And there are tons of money / affiliate keywords with buying intent that are easier to rank for - even for competitive niches. These are the first KW you want to target. It took me 3 seconds to find a keyword in the competitive laptop niche - "gaming laptops with touch screen". Keyword difficulty 3, 1.7k searches / month

Just enter your niche keywords in your favorite SEO tool and then filter the results up to a low keyword difficulty (I use ahrefs, so it would be under 20, for example).

Or enter your competitor's website (preferably a new website or a site with low domain authority), study the keywords they are ranking for and filter by keyword difficulty. Voila, you have a list of KWs that even a weak site can rank for.

Don't give up buddy. Keywords with less search volume wouldn't be a good choice. Choosing the right keyword is necessary. Find a keyword with easy to medium keyword difficulty and a good amount of search volume. Try promoting your content on social media, that may help in drive traffic to your site.
 
Try to find some interesting topics from google. And create articles and publish that in a well reputed websites. Definitely you will get traffic to your website.
 
The keyword research needs to be done right! Create unique and relevant content with proper keyword density.
You don't want to give up @Abishekh Kc , since it's your hobby and competition is everywhere. Take the time to learn and experiment. As @Mr Positive , Keep it as a test site, and once you see what works, start a new one by integrating everything you learned.
 
Bro there are millions of easy keywords out there in the Tech niche but finding it is the most difficult part. One method you can try is get Ahrefs, then in the Site explorer enter g.ezoic.net and check the Referring Domains.

Then sort RDs from low to high and traffic with 1000+ You'll get a lot of websites using Ezoic with mostly low Domain Authority.

From there you have to filter out sites in the Tech niche and then target their KWs.

Try the same method using quora.com and reddit.com in the site explorer, then check the Organic KWs section, use kw filter to search for tech kws where quora and reddit are ranking then check their answers. If it doesn't answer the query then target those.

You have to be innovative. There's no other way around. Millions of people are searching for kws right now.
 
Share your articles on different social media groups.
 
You may take help from any Digital Marketing company or can promote your blogs and website on social media your own (if want to save money)
