Does Medium Allow Affiliate Links?

If you have to ask, and YOU havn't checked and gotten an answer to the question, by just manually looking at the site, and figuring out as a user if people leave links or not, please avoid joining to just make 1 article and drop a link, like a 0-day seo guru! lol medium is a quality publishing platform, i am sure you can post links there, thats why i signed up!

You can usually add direct affiliate links at the end of a Medium article, but it’s a bit tricky. Medium doesn’t outright ban affiliate links, but if they think you’re spamming or it hurts user experience, your story might get flagged or limited in reach. Best practice is to add value first write helpful content, then include the link naturally. Also, avoid overloading your posts with affiliate links to stay safe.

You can use affiliate links on Medium, but you have to make it apparent that they are there, like by noting, "This post has affiliate links." Spammy or undeclared affiliate content is not allowed on Medium. If you utilize too many affiliate links or upload bad promotional content, your article or even your account could be banned or limited.

I’m not sure if you have to wait for your account to age a bit before you can start adding links in posts but I’ve seen people include affiliate links in their articles.
I actually did it once myself... I added an AppSumo link to a post I made but I haven’t used Medium much since then
Maybe there’s a tactic to it that thou... maybe wait a while after publishing and then edit the post later to add their affiliate link : )

Yes, Medium allows affiliate links, but always disclose them clearly in your post
