Does it matter if I think it brings badluck?

If you believe something brings badluck you'd hinge every failure or slowed results on that particular thing which would affect your judgement negatively, making you not consider mistakes you might have made while working.

The point is, believing it brings badluck would shift focus from other important aspects to it. You would not know why you're failing, you'd think it's because you masturbate.
