Does majestic 'external backlinks' mean total backlinks or backlinks indexed in google?

so is it just all backlinks that exist regardless of indexing in search engines or just the ones indexed in google?

Hi Arthur,

MajesticSEO explains it in its FAQ page, under the question "Where is the data coming from?". They don't rely on Google's data.
