The only way it would have a negative effect is if you were building and submitting shitty links. Or building links at an unnatural pace and not dripping them.
I switched to Lindexed after a month at Linklicious and I have to say I really like it better. It is a better value and their process for getting the links indexed is better, in my opinion. I have never done an actual case study as to it's effectiveness, however, I do know that the effectiveness (SERP-wise) of both services will correlate with the types of links you build and how fast you build them.
That being said, it may be time for me to do a case study and further analyze the effectiveness of these services.
