I don't think placement of hyperlink matters... But if you are placing anchor text, their placement is crucial. They must be palced wherever user get induced to click them.

Say you have a 400 word article. Is there any different in linkjuice if the link to your money site is near the beginning, in the middle, or at the end of your article?
Only if you want to get traffic. Otherwise you can place them anywhere you want and still get the same link juice.
