Does lead gen software work?

There a flood of new lead gen software this year. Do they work ?
Ofcourse they generate leads. Thats besides the point. But do they add to the bottom line? Does sales/business increase? Do people acquire new clients?

Yes you can use them for cold email. But if they work or not depend on your marketing skills.

I feel like it’d make more sense to specify lead gen software that you’re looking for feedback on. It’s too broad to ask “generally” if lead gen software works. Is there one in particular that you’d like to see some feedback on ?

Yes , I am asking in general if (all/any) work. I just bought one from appsumo. Will take it for test ride. Will see how it goes. Appsumo has 60 day money back guarantee so I got plenty of time to figure it out.

Theres also a free lead gen software at appsumo called postaga which works with hunter.io. It claims to automate your link building outreach. But with hunter.io free plan you can do only 50 lead scraping per month.
