Does Keyword stuffing still work on youtube?

Quick question, does keyword stuffing still help rank or get more traffic you your videos on youtube? I know its against youtubes TOS, but has any one been banned because of it? and has it helped rank or gain more traffic to your videos? thanks

no, I would not encourage this, not worth it and doesn't work very well

I use do it before but not as much as before.Keyword Stuffing brings unwanted traffic because you will be ranked for weird search terms and it will make your difficult for your video to rank for the desired search terms.Put your keywords in the description that makes sense and also put lsi keywords.Write as much in the description as you want up to 5000 characters but don't overoptimise it with keywords.

A lot of times, I put my search terms in quotes when I'm looking for YouTube videos, when I want an exact phrase, or when there are a lot of topics that use the same words, but in a different context. A lot of times, this will mean very low (<10) number of results. For these instances, I think keyword stuffing works, as long as you have the same quote in the video topic/description. But for just regular old keyword searches, no, I think this hasn't worked for at least several years.
