Does it matter which Pinterest site you log into?

I started an account and made a bunch of boards and pinned some stuff, probably an hour spent all up, then noticed I was on pinterest.com.au rather than pinterest.com.

Is it one big site or is the .com.au version just a smaller separate version? Wondering wether or not I need to start again with a new account on the .com version or not.

You should be fine, Pinterest like to split up there site based on Geo location so when signing up so you get served relevant Pins or Advertised pins based on your location mainly.

You can easily change this to the .com version simply by going into settings and changing location and language setting to US. Then go to the .com version and see if it has stuck, sometimes this takes a while to change on the front end.

If in doubt, once the setting is changed, close browser, clear the cache with something like CCleaner then login and should now be logging in under the .com (As long as your not going through a bookmark or similar link that is already on the .com.au extension)
