does it matter about the TLD?

do all TLD's get ranked the same? or is it better for one versus the other?

If you are wondering whether any tld and not the country specific tld would rank just fine in a specific country, then no. I would prefer co.uk for ranking in UK. However, even if you have a .com you can just set your targeted country as UK in google webmaster tools and then you'll rank just fine in UK.

Regarding .com/net/org vs .info, then no, I wouldn't risk with a .info Who knows if it matters or not? .co/net/org shouldn't be different from each other though. Don't get a .info (just to be on the safer side)

sorry about being vague, every time i put in a generic TLD bhw thinks im trying to advertise a domain name.

i am trying to find out whether or not i can buy the co domain name for something and focus on the keywords more...
