Hi BHW,

I want to create a new Instagram account and grow it organically for Onlyfans promotion. I'm thinking of using mobile data to be as natural as possible for insta application (quality IP, mobile card added to phone, account created with phone number).

But I'm worried about one thing. For example, my IP is from Bulgaria. Will I be able to be seen by people from the US? Or should I use a 4G mobile US proxy? I want to focus on the US audience.

During warm-up, I will interact with as much American content as possible from my niche by searching hashtags in explore.

This question also applies to TikTok.

yeah ip location can help a bit but it is not the main thing because content or hashtags and engaging with US users matter more and also focus on building a real audience in your niche.

a US based mobile proxy would give you a better start for targeting American audiences on both platforms. the strategy of engaging heavily with US niche content during warmup helps train the algorithm regardless of IP but starting with a US IP removes that friction from day one.

You can still reach a US audience from a Bulgarian IP. I wouldn't use a US proxy just to force the audience location, as inconsistent locations can create unnecessary account-security issues. I'd focus more on the content, language, niche, hashtags, and engagement with US-based audiences. The same general idea applies to TikTok.

yes you can still reach US users with a bulgarian ip and focus on US content or hashtags and engagement and also you don’t need a US proxy.

Yes, IP location can matter on Instagram, especially if your login locations change a lot or look unusual. I have found it’s better to keep your connection and location reasonably consistent rather than constantly switching between different countries.

No question definitely 4G USA proxy if you want to reach people from USA.

Use a us number sim card and run the account on the cellular data of the us sim card so that proxy can be changed and us audience can be attracted.

Content engagement language hashtags & overall audience signal should matter more. A Bulgarian IP shouldn't automatically limit US reach so I'd focus on targeting US users naturally. I don't think IP location is the main factor for Instagram reach.

If you put the correct hashtags, interact with American accounts and also have all of your content in English, then yes you should get pushed to a US audience.
