does internetbs allow multiple accounts?

I want to register a couple of domains through internetbs. to spread my risk, I dont want to use my main account, so just in case one account goes down I wont be completely screwed.
I am wondering, do they check cookies or ip? or can I log out of one account and immediately log into another account without problems?

What exactly are you doing that's against their TOS? If you're just registering some domains with them, and not actually hosting the website files there, then what you do with your website can only bother the web hosting company, not the domain registrar.

But to answer your question, they probably do check cookies and IPs. Whether they actually use that data to ban alt accounts is unknown to me, though. If you are actually doing something that could get you banned, it's better to be safe than sorry, so just clear your cookies and use a proxy each time you switch accounts.

I have heard of domains being confiscated if you do too much blackhat. it would suck if I build a domain for a year and then lose it due to some bullshit.

I believe that only occurs when you're doing stuff that's outright illegal, and even then, your domains might now always be confiscated. Blackhat doesn't necessarily mean illegal. You may be doing blackhat stuff that's against Google's (or your web host's) TOS, but is still perfectly acceptable legally. Your domains will not be confiscated if that's the case. However, if you, for example, make some knockoff PayPal website to phish people's PayPal accounts, then obviously you run the risk of having your domain confiscated :P

tl;dr - Just don't do anything illegal or directly against internetbs's TOS.
 
If you are participating with illegal practices to this degree then the government will seize your domains by contacting ICANN
and internetbs will have no say in the matter. So you are always taking your chances doing something this illegal.

I have 4 accounts with them and I really don't see why you couldn't get more than 1 account. You're paying, why would they mind? If you're doing anything dodgy though I would seriously consider using a proxy and clearing cache to create the account and access it.

It's not about them caring - see MegaSEO's post above.

But honestly, using a proxy and clearing cache won't do jack to keep you from getting in legal trouble, because if the government actually saw you as a threat (very unlikely in the first place), they could just look at your whois info. Then again, you could always fake your whois info, but that's ALSO illegal :P
 
If it's too illegal, if I was the domain company I'd check all IPS associated with the account and terminate all.

It just depends how blackhat you are going.

And if you are going very blackhat, you must have the resources to be able to use a different IP to login to each account.
 
I think they don't have block multiple accounts.

Example?? Because confiscation requires paper work and couldn't have been done very easily without a fight.

Not necessarily; if he clearly breaks the terms of service then it can be done very easily (to my knowledge).
 
You are a blackhatter and that means you should be able to create multiple accounts even if they do not
allow it in their terms of service. So the real question is not if they allow it but can you do it?
