Does Instagram discriminate against account creations made in developing countries?

I have been trying to set up new accounts on new devices over the past couple days and keep getting hit with immediate suspension and then selfie/selfie video verification. Eventually Instagram reopens the account but this is less than ideal and very time consuming.

My account creation method goes a little like this:

Factory reset the fresh (secondhand) device.

Insert new data sim (ultra cheap Vietnammobile ~$1 for 100gb disposable 4g only sim) and create new google account using details from fakepersongenerator.

Add profile picture to the gmail account and sign up to a newsletter.

Install Instagram from the play store and create account using the same details as used for gmail. Register with the gmail.

Immediate suspension after agreeing to their terms and policies.

I then have to verify with email, phone number (I use 5sim, although the Vietnamese numbers there never work so I just use UK number) and then either video selfie or picture selfie. Wait up to 48 hours to review before finally getting access. Ballache.

I did have slightly more success last night by using a vinaphone sim (one of the leading mobile network providers here in Vietnam) and a fresh device. I verified phone number using the sim and it skipped selfie verification and immediately lifted the suspension. However, I am legally only permitted 3 of those sim cards and registering for a sim here is pretty ....intense.... they take photos of me, my passport, take my signature. They even did a video call with the head office to verify I'm a real person lol. Wild. Also, presumably cannot use that number again to verify future accounts, otherwise they'll be linked...

I'm now having another issue trying to create a second account on one of my devices. I made.the first account a few days ago and warmed it up a little. I logged out, cleared instagram cache and data, airplane mode for 30 seconds, registered a new account with new email just as above. Trying to agree to their terms and policies and I get "We're sorry, but something went wrong. Please try again"

I've read other guides and commenters all seem to say that registering on a real device with 4g data is the best way to open accounts. I assume that registering from a developing nation where online fraud is rampant (part of the reason why all payg sims must be verified with ID now) is giving me a low "trust score"?

This is an absolute nightmare. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Any Vietnamese or developing nation homies in here who can help?

Thanks in advance!

Yes bro its true they prefer us or Europe

Every social media platform/app has its own blacklist of IP addresses and certain countries.

Due to heavy spam attacks from e. g. China, Pakistan, Bangladesh etc. it's normal that the access of freshly registers users will be limited.

I have pretty much resigned to the fact that I am always going to have problems with account creation whilst I'm out here in Vietnam. I have tested various different networks and also tried using an iphone. All account creations get hit with the human verification crap. Very frustrating.

I think I'm going to just buy accounts, as I really don't have the patience to be waiting 24 hours+ for each one. Will using bought accounts really increase ban rate significantly?
