Does Instagram disable accounts for buying fake followers/likes?

When testing the exact same thing a few months ago, I noticed that indeed a few (newly created) accounts got disabled when botting them a few thousand followers an hour. It didn't work for aged accounts though.

I agree, aged accounts are much more stable
 
The answer can be yes or no depending on multiple factors
Either way, it's bad karma
 
I don't think it would be a problem if the account is well aged.
 
I saw a case where an account is buying influencer post and getting so many follower requests that Instagram suspend his account for some reason.

It’s not a fake followers tho, and this account I assume was recently made too.
 
Nah social media's usually don't issue bans for that.
In some cases it might decrease engagement rates though.

Yes most probably.
As buying fake followers is against Instagram rules and regulations ,
Buying fake followers would either block you account or disable permanently.

I would recommend to not perform such activities to keep you account safe,
Whereas doing actions manually may help you gain slowly but consistently and safely.
 
It won't ban someone else's account, instead they'll be a shadow ban on the account.
 
No, but twitter does. This trick will not work as they can appeal and restore account and they will get free followers.
 
no they don't do that! been in this biz for a long time. they only ban for stuff you do within your account. like mass following, mass liking etc!
 
If you do everything carefully, then do not get banned, did 200-300 subscribers and likes per hour, not banned.
 
It should looks natural to avoid the ban , it's also depends on multiple factors like age of the account and engagement rates on old posts , any unusual behavior can be detected by their bots and result verification process or decrease reach
 
No way :P i put 1 mln followers on one account in 1 month :) and its ok :D

I am making account 8 years. i am checking limits and i never get banned by buying followers.
Basic plans are 15k / month (500 / day)
but i have clients where we get 100k / month or 500k per month ;)

Everything is ok
