Seems like my reach has actually gone down since using them lately.

EDIT: Or is this just still the byproduct of the algorithm change

It depends on your account, niche, and post quality. Also if real or some/most fake followers, and if you buy likes/comments.

Music, around 20k followers, I think my post quality's pretty good but I guess it has to get better lolol. My followers are real. I've bought likes a number of times. At my best I got around 2k likes and now I'm struggling to hit 900 and my video views/comments are getting lower as well.

How about powerlikes from real accounts? Would that be consideted fake for IG?

well... if you get caught.. they are gonna take off a lot of exposure on you.

If you find a good provider - with REAL accounts then they will work.
As always in IG it#s a lot of stuff to consider, normaly it's not "only dm groups" or the "wrong hashtags" it more like 20 metrics you should consider within your account. For me DM Groups work still pretty well :)

My first question to you is, what do you consider a powerlike account?

I consider a powerlike account to be 100K+ real followers, with real engagement. Usually 2K+ real likes and 100+ real comments per post.

Now, if you are buying these for cheap, that right there tells you they're not real accounts.

If the accounts are liking your posts just because you have great content, then you should not have lower engagement.

I handle many real accounts for businesses/brands and influencers. Some are small (15K-50K) and get engagement from small accounts. Their engagement is OK, not low as you report.
So, any engagement is good, but don't confuse powerlikes with engagement from small accounts. Anyone feeding you bull that 1,000 10K follower accounts liking your post is just as good as getting 10 1M follower accounts to like your post, is just taking you and your money for a ride.

If the quality of your videos is good or better than before, then you're low engagement is due to your following not seeing your posts. Easy explanation, right?

So, how do you fix it? Engage with your following. Easy, right? How, when and with whom of your 20K followers you engage is the 64K $ question. Only those of us that professionally run client's accounts know the little tricks. Contact a local social media manager if you want to fix your account. Or, start from scratch, or keep spinning your wheels around.
