Does ig give original content more views ?

does original content get more views? do they penalize videos that are reupload stolen? can I add a filter or some stickers on the video change the audio and get away with it? or would I need to make brand new content ?

i grew my ig page to 90,000 with reposting other peoples content only lol. Aslong as your not shawdow banned you will be okay

ofc . but the question is how ig decide which content is original? or which content is not original. which is trending or not. that is what you need to find out.

By the engagement it will have on your audience

They are better and better as recognizing the original especially for accounts that are mass reposted, but repost still works, especially controversial content

It'll largely penalize aggregator sites. So if your entire account is based on posting videos from other people's accounts, you could see a decrease in ranking. If your account is mostly filled with original content, you shouldn't be impacted.
