I keep seeing people chase huge national keywords while ignoring small local markets.

For anyone doing local lead gen in 2026, are hyper local websites still worth building or has the competition caught up?

Yes, I think hyper local lead generation still works well Smaller local markets are often less competitive making it easier to rank and generate consistent leads As long as the site targets real local search intent and provides useful content theres still plenty of opportunity in 2026
