Does Having Sex Reduce Intelligence?

Damn, it's an interesting question again. But admit it, this thought at least once crossed your mind.

I suspect that having sex is a trap for intelligence. Yeah! Having sex is a lot of fun and it's like going above the clouds. But whenever I have sex I feel stupid for a few days. The next day, my comprehension is diminishing a little bit, and I can't comprehend thoughts very quickly. I walk around like an idiot the first day I have sex, my intellectual depth of thought is disappearing. When I take a break from sex, my self-esteem increases and I have thoughts deep enough to solve everything.

But damn it is like a powerful trap! It tempts you to experience that pleasure. If I had found a way not to have sex, I think I'd be a philosopher. Ok, This analogy may sound exaggerated, but imagine spending your sexual energy elsewhere. What can you do with this energy? Forget about women for a moment and don't let lust take over your thoughts. I think this means a very dangerous force. If you transfer this energy elsewhere, success will be with you.


Yes, I've started thinking that way lately. I think sex should be reduced, and if it's too much, you'll be stupid.
Have you really seen someone who's had too much sex become too smart?

What I am about to say may sound very stupid. You have been warned.

It isn't reducing your intelligence. It reduces your motivation temporarily. I think it makes sense if you think about it.
We are wired for reproduction and survival. If you are a young man, women and desire to have sex is your biggest motivation to gain status (to get rich, to have sexy abs, etc).

But when you get enough sex - that motivation goes down temporarily. The easiest way to get back that motivation? Don't have Sex?? Or increase your desire - how about a threesome? a victoria's secret model?

While it may not make you "less smart" it will definitely lower your ambition. Sex is basically the apex biologically and if you are on the peak for too long you will lose the will to fight and get better. Not true for all but definitely true for some.
