Does having an SSL help at all with SEO?

Does having an SSL Certificate for a Money Site help at all, with SEO perhaps? Thanks guys.

Not at all.

It's only used to make your site more secure. So if you are collecting people's information then not having SSL may scare them away.

As Orange mentioned, I have not seen any direct increase in SEO by using a SSL certificate.

However, if you accept payments or handle any kind of sensitive information (social security number, bank number, etc), then it would be in your best interest to have one. It may not help with SEO, but it would directly affect a user's trust in your website.
