Does Google still ignore spammy backlinks if they’re not indexed?"

Quick question for those running link spam at scale, if the backlinks aren’t indexed in Google, do they even move the needle anymore?
Been testing some GSA + blog comments, but seeing zero effect unless I force index.
Anyone else noticing this? Or maybe I’m doing it wrong?
Not trying to build anything long-term here, just short-term boosts.

I don't run spam campaigns.
But the first thing a link must do is to index. Otherwise it does nothing.

Most indexed links do nothing too unfortunately.

Non indexed backlink doesn't have any value to google.

If the backlinks aren’t indexed, Google effectively doesn't see them so yeah, they won’t do much. For mass spam (GSA, blog comments, etc.), indexing is half the battle. You'd need a decent indexer or tiered linking setup to push them in otherwise, you're doing a whole lot of nothing. Outside of testing purposes, not much value out of it.
