Does Google prefer verbose content?

I see a lot of Clickbank reviews ranked well on Google with 500 words+ of nonsense. I bet even the owners of these sites can't be bothered to read them through once. They seem to always try to avoid duplication, though.

Do you think Google prefers verbose content?

Google accepts any kind of content. It matters only how you present it (paragraphs, headings, images and so on).
