Does Google Penalize AI Content for Tertiary Blogs?

Hey guys,


I’m working on building out tertiary blog posts to support my main product pages. I’m doing solid keyword research and using these blogs to build a topical hub, but here’s my question:


If I use AI tools like ChatGPT to draft the content, will Google penalize me just because it’s AI-generated? I’ve heard mixed opinions — some say AI is fine as long as it’s high quality and human-edited, others say you need to “spin” it or heavily rewrite it to stay safe.


Do you guys rewrite or clean up the content with tools like Grammarly or Quillbot? Or is it better to just focus on making sure the content is valuable, natural, and well-linked internally, regardless of how it was written?


Would appreciate some advice from people who’ve actually ranked pages with AI-assisted content.

2nd option. I don't change anything and posts it is. Trying to change it make it more readable or human like only worsens it and a waste of time.

google doesn’t penalize AI content on its own, but quality matters. focus on making it valuable, natural, and well-linked internally. using tools like grammarly or light editing helps, but you don’t need to spin it human review to ensure clarity and usefulness is key

google doesn’t punish content just for being AIi-generated. what matters is quality and value. review and edit ai drafts to make them natural and useful, check grammar, and focus on good internal linking—spinning isn’t necessary if the content is genuinely helpful.

Imo, Google doesn’t penalize just for AI, what matters is quality, originality, and value

If the content is useful, human-edited, and fits search intent, it can rank fine. Focus less on “spinning” and more on making it genuinely helpful and well-structured
 
AI-generated content can work well as long as it’s high-quality and human-edited. Focus on creating valuable, natural content and ensure strong internal linking for the best results

They've stated they don't penalize AI content as long as it's helpful, reliable, and people-first.
The key is your final step: rigorous human editing for E-E-A-T. If it reads well and provides value, you're good.
 
Google doesn’t penalize content just because it’s AI-written — they care about quality, usefulness, and originality. If your AI drafts are human-edited, fact-checked, and add real value, you’re safe. No need to spin — just clean it up, make it natural, and tie it into your internal linking strategy. Many sites are already ranking well with AI-assisted content.
 
Believe me or not 100% your site will be removed if you do any such a trick . Google never say they will derank AI contnent but my experience they hate ai content

Google doesn't punish material just because it's made by AI. What counts is how good it is, how valuable it is, and how well it matches what people are looking for. AI technologies like ChatGPT are good for writing drafts, but you should always alter the text to make sure it is accurate, add your own insights or experience, and make sure it sounds natural. It's best to focus on value, structure, and strong internal connecting than to use "spinning" tools. Light editing tools like Grammarly are better for polishing. AI-assisted content can help a lot of sites rank well if it is well-optimized and offers real value.
