Does Google penalise you for having many different sites?

I have several Amazon affiliate sites with decent content. Most are over 12 months old, but my traffic which was rubbish anyway, is declining.

My question is, does Google penalise you for having several different niche Amazon sites?

Just a feeling I get that Google doesn't like me or my sites!

I know google recently changed their algo, that could be the reason.

There could be something between you and google when you target the same keyword on the sites that you own and register them on google - I find it difficult to rank 2 different sites for the same keyword in the process, but 1 site would surely rank up there, and another won't.

it all depends on where are you redirecting the site or if you missuse you cloaker (if you use cloaker) my recommendation is you use the same desktop and same ip address so that you can maintain the fingerprint and google doesnt point you out if you are running whitehat
