Does google penalise for having gamblings ads?

Let's say I have a website with the free stuff. I want to monetise my traffic and I sign the affiliate agreement with the online casino.
I place this casino's banners on my website. Will google penalize me for advertising gambling?
Does anybody know anything about it?

Remove all affiliate links and banners from your website,
...after your ads campaign is approved, you can add your affiliate links and banners again to your site

Sorry, I did not mean any google add campaign. I am not going to use it.

By Google Penalty I mean lowering my SEO rankings for having links on the gambling websites.

According to google, it is not good to have casino ads in your website, unless your website is related to casino.

Is your free stuff completely or relevant with the casino/Gambling niche? If yes, you can display casino ads in your page. Google wants the people that they shouldn't misguide the visitors with irrelevant page content/ads.

The major ranking factor would be how long it takes for the ad section to load and what it does to the overall speed. Which Adsense is well known for slowing down your site, then you get a Google penalty for slow site speed(???). I would say that speed is the biggest concern in this instance. Well content is pretty high on the list too.

But I am not planning to use Adsense at all.
I am planning to use an affiliate link from the online casino.

I don't have practical experience but my team mate always ask me not to accept casino and adult links for backlink sales. When I asked they said it will impact on seo ranking.
