If I use cloaking and redirect users to a copy of my brandwebsite (meaning that there is no connection between my real brandwebsite and this copy. The copy domain is registrated in another name, using another server, etc).

Is there a chance that google will do a company name search and see the branddomain in the serps, and then ban my brandsite despite that my brandsite is pure whitehat?

If Google detect the cloaking from a manual review, does Google only penalize the actual domain or the hole company with all websites belonging to the company - no matter if they are whitehat or blackhat?

According to me it is isn't possible.

G is a smart robot but a robot, don't ever forget that.

But, i would suggest to not add the same G Analytic, Adsense, Webmaster Tools on your same Gmail account.

ANd i wouldn't use the same web hosting services.

There are definitely manual reviews for some cases of cloaking so it's a distinct possibility that your clean site could be affected by cloaking your feeder sites. However, it's a tricky position for Google because anyone could set up cloaked stuff pointing at someone else's site in order to try to get them banned.

On one hand, there are plenty of people cloaking Clickbank products (for example) and the CB products still rank fine. On the other, if you're ever cloaking then you're playing with fire and you should expect the whole network to get fried from time to time.

Logic says that the clean site will not be affected as mentioned above cos anyone can then take out their competitors using obvious BH stuff on them.
