Does Google like traffic from a FB page?

I mean, usually social media traffic seems to be higher quality, right?

Nope. Social media traffic has lower quality. Well, this is according to my experience. I have a few blogs monetized with Adsense receiving social media traffic got lower CPC compared to organic traffic.
For your second question, are you asking if social media traffic will help your website rank on search engines? As far as I am aware, social media traffic will not help you rank. But social signals are good for a website.

I'll help you... Google owns Chrome. Chrome sends a lot of info back to Google.

I didnt say they are a ranking factor , i did clearly said THEY KNOW
and yeah its a ranking factor no matter what they say (worst case they consider engagements and clicks from FB which can help with bounce rate and thats a SEO factor )
