Does Google check the site owners origin?

I had this doubt in my mind that whether Google is checking the site owner's origin when it comes to ranking. Google can find the owner pretty easily even if you don't use their tools like Google console or Analytics.

I have seen a lot of non-US bloggers are failed in ranking for US keywords.

Is this a myth? What do you think?

Never heard of such a thing and highly doubt it would ever be the case but yes, they are able to check the WHOIS data being a member of the ICANN.

This is a myth. Well there is a tendency to overstimate what data Google is using and how decide which site to rank higher.
I'm not sure if they are really interested to know so much. Cause that's an unbelievable amount of data that needs lots of sources that costs lost of money. And it's not easily even for the giant like Google. And it's not giving no value to the search. They may use it for other goals. Can't swear on it. But not search.

That's not true. Then how come many marketers here on BHW from other countries rank for US keywords.

That's only myth, their manual reviewing team might check site owner's origin to decide if it's PBN or not. Google don't!

I can tell you for a fact that IP does matter. Maybe that's the issue. Also, depends on the niche. In my case, I couldn't rank without an IP in US.

Or the fact that you optimized your website along with better hosting provider with result better ranking?

I think they fail because doing their job wrong. There are a lot users trying to rank, but there is limited space at first page. Origin doesn't matter. The only thing related to this which can matter is domain owner when he has PBN networks, link farms etc. Then Google can filter out his domain automatically due to abusing their guidelines

Most of the time they fail because they are not native speaker. But yes seo experts will tell you if you build links to your site then hide your domain behind privacy and don't use gsc with your real Gmail ID.
