    Hi guys!

I'm currently trying to rank a .com domain name in google.com rankings

I had a dedicated server in Australia so I started hosting it hear.

I've been monitoring the rankings for about a month and I've noticed I'm dominating the google.com.au rankings but not so much google.com

Would this be due to the server location being in Australia?

Does geographical server location affect Google ranking?

Would it be an advantage to change its hosting to the US?

Much debatable topic LOL... You can host it in USA, will only get benefit from that... I have a site hosted in USA but it ranks in UK or other places but not in USA...

You can also target from your webmaster panel...

I may have a bit of a play around with this guys and post back my findings :D

I've just changed the Geographic target to the USA and I will see how that results, then i will change the server location and post back them results as well.
