Does geo-block affect my site ranking?

I'm building my own site. In my experience, tier 2, tier 3 visitors are useless. I want to block all of them. Does that affect my ranking? Thanks.

It shouldn't just make sure not to block searchengine crawlers

It will effect your site ranking in those countries

But you should do well in others still. Remember to tell google what your target country / market is in console as well.

The central Google bot is visiting your site with a California IP address- there are some 'localized' versions but they do not always crawl your website with the same frequency/debt.
You can check for this in Google support.
