Hey guys - just quick question regarding the origin of the backlinks - if you have a website that is targeted for people in Swedish, will using swedish backlinks be better in terms of PR?

PR? Are u stuck in 2006? To answer ur question: geo targeted backlinks tend to work better but a contextual edu link from japan, for example, will piss on a Swedish blog comment.

i think Geo link is importance the goal for backlink is to refer people to you . so Geo target is importance

Using a Swedish PBN (with Swedish hosting and TLD's) would help you get better rankings if you are trying to rank in Google.se yes

GEO target is better for targeting people of a specific location.
You should go with this idea.
