Does FB ever make you prove who you are?

FB noob here,


If you make an account under a pen name and build up a business or your page gets really big, does FB make you prove who you are?

Will they kill your page if you can't?

we have had to scan a passport before

have heard of actors/musicians having to do the same too

When your account and page goes viral and some people(hate you or competitors) reporting you as someone else(spammer or poser) I think you should start proving that you own that account or site(verifying of account).

I know some people got banned without notice and they retrieve back their accounts or page only after they've verified and confirmed their pages and accounts.

Regarding the pen name, I think you have to give other unique info that will match with your account or page.
