With paid traffic you need to make a profesional landing page and hide your links and read facebook policies very well
With free traffic i think you can register to fb groups in this niche then create a pdf ebok that teach people how to gamble ,guide etc and have your affiliate link inside the book
But you need to come with value and help people amd not just spam links because it will not work

Gambling aff still works but the conversion rates I see are not as strong as in 2021-2022. You will need to focus more on attractive ad copy and landing page

Obviously Meta does not allow gambling ads but if to advertise gambling you need to follow hidden links and you have to spend quite a bit of money for it.

Most people run ads with hidden links, I find it less effective than direct advertising, but it reduces the risk of being scanned continuously
