Does Facebook Pause ads when your account needs to be verified

Please say yes,

I put a lot of advertising money in Facebook on a new account, now when i logged in to make some changes, facebook brought me to the verification screen. I cant get past it, i need to stop my ads though

I would assume that facebook would pause the ads, please let me know.

You can't run ads without a fb acc so your campaign/ads will be automatically paused. Once you bypassed the verification process you need to activate your campaign again.

Quick question: why do you need to verify your account again?
