Does Facebook "ghost" your status updates?

So, I've got about 5 fan pages in similar niches, and with a single status update on all of them I was getting about $80-$100 a day with CPA ads.

I've been careful to keep most of my content relevant to the fans with only the occassional CPA ad being posted.

However, for the last 48 hours, I'm not getting ANY response or clicks on the status updates to my CPA pages.

Before that I would get a few dozen likes per page and at least 10 comments each.

But now - nothing.

Any idea why this would be happening? They're responding great to my regular status updates so it's not that they're just ignoring them.

I even tried changing domains and it's still happening.

Any ideas?

there is a ranking now of posts from fan pages. the lower reply you get, you get burried.

like you own posts, like them from fake accounts, get friends to like them. Overtime you will get back up

I have had it happen to me before. Even on personal account when it is something silly like my kids school activities.

Thanks guys. I'm going to try out a few non-cpa links and see if they're having the same effect.

the content does not matter, if you post to much crap and no one comments or likes you get burried over time

Same thing happened to me. I have quit doing it since and now my pages are back to normal.

Hmm, alright, so it looks like my approach will need to change.

Thanks guys. I'll actually need to do a little leg work then :)

Post a status update that gets a lot of attention, then comment on your own status w/ the ad.

Actually I have the same problem since one or two days...
I always get some response and its a bunch of fanpages I post on so I think its something different.
Only outgoing links get no response - and actually I think that its maybe the server-IP because I set up a brand new page (no CPA, CJ, LJ or anything crappy on it) and I dont get ONE hit towards my website!

So I dont know if they just lock everything I post with my account(s) or whatever...
I even let someone post from another country on another fanpage I had never something to do with and also: no visitors!

I can still post test, pictures videos and other fanpages and the response is good - just every single outgoing link gets nothing!

To update, and this may give Spawnie some ideas: I tested a link to an About article on all my pages today, and all of them got a decent response. Not as big as a regular status that asks a simple question, but still pretty good for a link.

It looks like it's just things that are coming from that one server. I'm going to move one of my .info domains to one of my other hosts and hopefully will get a better response.

Write the offer creative as a page note and send a status update with the note. Make sure the CTR is measurable, use a bit.ly etc.
