Back in the days all business were done in skype and emails and forums but recent months started noticing lot of them are not in skype slowly everyone started moving out ? lot of them moved to social media like fb but my question is even though you build a huge business in FB but in one-minute FB bans your account you are out of the business right? why not people stick to old-style forums?

I still use Skype and my clients too use it for business chats and communication.

Skype is the best tool for business communication, but the other tools like Discord are just for casual conversation....

A lot of people are switching over to WhatsApp and Telegram
Telegram alone is a jungle

Skype
Telegram

I use both for business purposes. Most of my clients are on Skype than they are on Telegram. Recently, I started using Telegram as it started to look like some clients prefer it. I wouldn't ditch any of them. Customers satisfaction comes first. Else, you would be leaving shit load of money on the table.

I'm doing business mostly on Skype still.. But you shouldn't trust my judgment, it took me a few months of being the only one online to leave MSN Messenger too...

I seldom, if ever, use Skype nowadays. I mean I am open to it, but nobody really recommends it first.

Telegram and Discord, where the majority of my Crypto/Blockchain/NFT customers spend most of their time communicating and interacting on, have become my go-to places.

FB Messenger and WhatsApp for most other clients.

I talk to my business partners from China on Skype a lot.

Although it is not as popular these days, a lot of product providers from China prefer it.

If a potential business associate tells me to "add them on skype"

Then they are no longer a potential business associate.

I think Skype is the equivalent of saying "check out my myspace"

Skype sucks. Can’t wait until everyone is done with it.
