Does Every PBN Post Need to Be Indexed for the Link Juice to Pass

Got a quick question for those of you with experience running PBNs.


When you're posting on a PBN, do you make sure every single post gets indexed by Google? Or is it fine if just the homepage is indexed, as long as the posts are linked from there?


Couple things I'm still not fully understood:
  • Can a post still pass SEO value if it's not indexed?
  • Do you guys manually submit posts for indexing, or just let Google find them on its own?
Appreciate any tips or insights — trying to fine-tune my process. Thanks!

Okay, Thx for answering. Since it's risky to use Google Search Console on PBN sites due to footprint issues, I'm wondering what's the most effective way to get PBN posts indexed without relying on GSC? Do indexers still work well in 2025?
 
If your goal is to display links on the homepage, post being indexed is irrelevant.

You might as well insert link into static content on the homepage, without any standalone content piece. Same thing technically.

Quick follow-up:
If I'm placing the link directly on the homepage, does the position of the outbound links matter? (For example, in the main content vs. the sidebar or footer)?
I’ve seen people say that putting links in the sidebar isn't ideal.

Backlink placed on the homepage gives you more impact, and if it is placed in the main content, possibly in the first paragraph, then it's great!
 
If most of the PBN website pages are not getting indexed, there's probably something off,
This could be due to the domain used (previously used for spam), content, etc...

It will still pass link juice if the link is visible in the homepage and it's crawled/indexed,
But, the PBN is not considered as good, not ideally a good indicator, especially if it's occuring in most of the PBN websites
 
If its on the homepage then no.
 
In most cases, if a post isn’t indexed, it won’t pass meaningful SEO value — because Google can’t assign relevance to something it hasn’t crawled and indexed.

While having the homepage indexed can lead Google to discover internal links, it’s not reliable for consistent link equity transfer, especially in controlled PBN environments.

Manually submitting posts via tools like Search Console or IndexNow can significantly speed up indexing and give you more control over what gets picked up and when.

For long-term results, focus on crawlability, internal link structure, and unique content — these reduce reliance on manual submission over time.

Index tracking should be part of your workflow. If it’s not indexed, it’s not helping — plain and
simple.
 
So, do I have to use any indexing tools for my own pbn since I can't put it up on GSC.
