Does Ebay/Amazon Arbitrage work in 2015?

Hey Folks,

I'm thinking about getting into a bit of retail arbitrage? I see the web is awash with tricks and paid for tools, meaning the lucrative time has often passed for these types of things?

Is anybody doing this at the moment?

I'm a programmer so I guess I have that edge, I can make my own tools to automate the process and not eat into my profit.

One of the big problems I am having right now is finding products to sell, any ideas on this?

Also, would it be easy to make $500/1000 per month?

Amazon Arbitrage is still going strong. It might take a little bit of research to find the right product(s) to sell, but the method is still viable. You can only scale up so much reselling product, however. If you manage to get into the game, I'd highly recommend Private Labeling.

Yes it appears to be alive and well, just a quick question do you also have an non-limit ebay account? If you don't then eBay will require you to sell xx amount of items before you can scale which is kind of counter productive for arbitraging (since we want to list tons of items hoping to rank for a handful and banking) and sucks if you dont have any money to spare. If you do then I'd like to discuss how I could possibly contribute if you want.

There are people here on bhw making a lot more than 1k/month dropshipping on eBay. It's easy to sell items and make lots of money. It's hard to not get banned

Ok, cool. Well, my personal ebay account is around 10 years old. I'll have to check it out. What exactly are the limits and how do you get increased? Can't I just start a basic shop then level up over time?

Why would I get banned? I thought arbitrage didn't really bother Ebay/Amazon as they are both getting paid. Obviously using AMZ Prime being an exception.

I'm not sure if this is the only one (as im currently stuck on it myself) but I have a 10 item or 1000$ per month limit (which ever comes first). as I said im not sure how to get it increased, but I'd join Eurphorix's thread and ask him any relevant questions about that.

products are everywhere but I doubt any of us that are making great money are going to tell you what we are selling
