Hi
When I build site for example for German market is it better to have extension .de or it doesnt matter and .com, net will work in the same way?

If your content is in German a .de would be fine, especially if aimed mainly at the German market.
I'd suggest if you're doing mainly English content with some German in there too, go for a .com

If you have a german website then definitely better is create PBN with .DE domain (.AT or .CH also can be)

Top level TLD domains are more appreciable by the Google. Maybe you mentioned TLDs are less SEO optimized than high-level TLDs.

Country targeted outrank .com for local market or other domains believe it or not. I have tested myself.

If you want to rank locally, you can opt for .de and get backlinks from German sites. You can also diversify by adding links from .net, .com, .org

use .de ........... .com is ok as well but go for the coutry domain

Yes, country specific domain matters a lot in SEO.

In addition to above suggestions, when you do Google search in your mobile, your mobile uses Country specific Google Search Engine "By default". For example: If you are in German, your mobile will use "https://www.google.de", if you are in UK -> "https://www.google.co.uk", if you are in USA -> "https://www.google.com", if you are in India -> "https://www.google.co.in" and your country specific website will get preference as Google wants to offer better search experience to its users.

Hope, that makes sense?

Cheers,
Steve
