I am wondering, does the domain expiration affect the sites rank on Google?

They once said it did, but if it did, they probably got away from that.
If you registered it for like ten years, it was supposed to show Google you mean business! lol.
But I have a ton of sites expiring withina year ranking #1-#5.

You mean, if your domain expires will your ranking get affected?

My feeling is it may also some consideration needs to be given to the domain extension. I doubt google values a 1yr. .info the same as a 10 year .com.
