    Noob question #2368

I know you should never direct all of the links you build directly to the home of a site. So does deeplinking to specific pages / landingpages also help the overal ranking of the main website on these keywords / topics?

Some people say you should point like 20% of your links on inner pages, but that does completly depends on which sites you want to rank. I believe that every link you point to a site helps the whole domain, no matter if your interlinking is good. Good interlinking just increases the effect and especially supports the sites that you link to.
