does ctr matter for ranking a website?

i have an electrician services website and i only rank money keywords..electrician+ city
or service+city.

people are calling etc.. its all good, but will it make a difference if i start with blogging where i dont use money keywords.

the ctr is only 0,9%... average 900 impressions and 9-15 clicks a day.
does it really matter or affect the ranking for money keywords?

will it help if i start with blogging for example like to rank sites such as "costs of electrician in berlin"..

will i get then more calls for my electrician services? do people also call or write mails when they google such long informational keywords?

Hit the nail on the head here, if you can get one going then you can get a few going.

They'll start helping each other out then.

so its good to have a blog with easy to rank keywords. Put some backlinks on them and then create a internal backlink from the blog to a money site..?
 
CTR as a number don't mean anything, it's a relative metric. What matters is your CTR on position X compared to another site on the same position for a relatively similar keyword, and most importantly - were you able to satisfy the user's intent (in other words, did the user kept browsing through results after they left your site)?
 
People might not call directly from those blog pages, but it drives more visitors to your site. If they see your brand multiple times, there’s a trust factor that kicks in.

Yes, starting a blog with helpful information can build your site's reputation and bring in more visitors, which can lead to more calls, even if the topics aren't directly about your services.
 
Since googles latest data leakage we now know that this is a great ranking factor. So yes.
 
Its not absolute but rather relative. Like how you compare with other sites that are ranking for the same keywords.
