Does copyright thing work internationaly?

as the title says. I am thinking of creating a software which mainly uses texts and audios from books. And almost in all books there is a copyright notice. My plan is to create the software and sell it for 5 or 10 dollars. What do you guys think? ATM i am worried about copyright will they charge me if live far away from the west(america,europe)=)))
 
you're safe as long as you never plan to visit :)

More seriously though, I doubt your program will draw enough attention to get you in trouble here.
 
no not a spinner just a teaching program which uses books, you know ESL? it is gonna be self prepare program

Even if he plans to visit. It's not like they're gonna arrest him in the airport :D
 
They have to register it in each country search your own country trademarks database to make sure they aren't registered if they didn't register it they cant touch you
 
As mentioned before it depends where copyright and trademarks are registered.

A good read is the legal ridicule page of the pirate bay ;) bad ending for those guys though.
