Hi guys, have any of you ever tried to completely copy the ad (following the reasoning: if it works for him it should also work for me) of another advertiser to try to see if you get good results?

What results did you get from this test?

This is really bad, but it will save you time to experiment and find win products. the expansion will be very fast . However, you need to pay attention to the duration and interaction of the ad to make sure the product is not at the end of its life.

it depends on fp and pixels
the results won't be really good at first. If you have a bigger budget than the owner of the article and can maintain the ads
your price will be better on then

When you copy someone else's campaign you are in direct competition so you need to have advantages over them: good accounts, big budgets, good pixels, good pages

I never tried, but would suggest, You can take insights from their ads and use it ethically & strategically, which may give you good results.

Do you mean that if an ad owner is running e.g. campaign with $50/day and I copy and launch it at $100/day I will be ahead of him and fb gives priority to me?

You can replicate in a modifying way, give it a uniqueness for a better result
do you mean to slightly edit the image/video (e.g., increasing the saturation and putting a colored frame around it) and the copy (maybe putting some emoji and paraphrasing it a bit)?

It generally isn't very good unless your budget is bigger than theirs.

This is wrong, you shouldn't do it. create your own campaign and grow it until it runs out to potential customers, everything will be fine for you

No one likes competitors, but you just created one for your Bussiness

That really only works if it is better than his ad copy and material
