Does content need to write by native?

I want to write the articles by myself. The issue is I'm not a native English speaker or at least not from a well English speaking countries such as Singapore, Philippine or India etc.

Yes, I could hire native writers to write for me. Yet, there are pros and cons with that.

Pros:
- Article will be well structured and grammatically correct (at least not having much mistakes).
- The tone is familiar to the readers.

Cons:
- Money is needed in order to hire (natives are not cheap).
- The actual quality of article might be low because they won't spend much time to do the research or dig deeper in the topic (time is money).

I believe I'd get what I pay! Yet, this is not the case here.

I want to write by myself because I want the articles to have plentiful of resources for my readers. In addition, it'll cost me less than outsourcing.

Is it wrong to write by myself (assuming that my English including grammar and word flow is not good)?

You don't have to be a native speaker to write high quality article, I am also not a native speaker and I am from the Philippines but I have worked with a lo of clients in the past that thought I was a native speaker because of the quality of the articles. Well in my experience, some native have more errors that a well educated non native writers.

Because in other country they have English subject and they need to take it until college.
 
Currently the solution is you can write your own articles and then hire a good writer not for writing but for proofreading. This will reduce your cost and final proofreading by a native speaker will also maintain good English. Slowly with time you will learn what to improve and you will yourself feel writing like a native writer. Clients will also be happy.
 
My Opinion- You should write your own articles, you can research well and can write a unique and interested article. This will not only reduce your cost but also bring confidence.
 
+1 to the post above. Writing it for yourself for the first time really give the site that look and feel. CAuse you know what you are writing, you know your ways etc etc. Just hire a copywriter or learn to review your articles the right way.
 
Writing your own articles will definitely save you money, especially if you're new to IM, you will make mistakes and you will be glad that you did not waste on money on it. Instead of wasting money, you can spend time learning how to write. Consider your first articles, and your first website as practice.

If you find yourself enjoying the writing part of this business, then maybe you can take some online writing courses. My English professor at school recommended a few websites, saying that these courses are as good, if not better, than a lot of brick-and-mortar four year schools in the US.

Tomorrow is my last class before winterbreak, so I will ask my professor for the English course website, if you are interested PM me tomorrow or something.
 
It is not at all mandatory that article should be written by a native speaker, I would like to share my experience here. Last month I started my new website for that i hired one native speaker to write one press release for promotion of my site, But what i got the result is -> PR was rejected by press release distribution site due to low quality and then I tried one of my indian writer, And i got live link within 48 hours from that press release distribution site. So, Now you can judge the quality, I am not saying all native writers give low quality but my point is it is not necessary to use only native writers.
 
If you can write interesting articles by yourself then you don't need a writer.. you need a proofreader :) Way cheaper and it's essentially YOUR text.
 
Don't skimp on writers--they will make or break your site in the end. I learned this the hard way last year.

What you need to do is write content that can help or solve people problems
 
What i do is write article by myself and proofread it through grammerly.com's premium plan. It helps me to maintain my article's quality in terms of grammar as well as information rich.
 
Only Indian writers have the capability to write optimized contents on seo friendly basis and also with minimum grammatical errors.

This line sounds like it's taken from some article filled with filler words
 
You could write articles in english but what about your native language? I feel like there would be less competition that way, research the niches first and see if they do better in different languages or country's.
 
If a person is speaking in his second language, he is speaking from his brain. If a person is speaking in his native language, he is speaking from his heart.
 
Similarly to one of the posters above I would suggest you hire a part-time editor (preferably a native speaker) to look through your stuff before you post it. I mean it's ok to have an occasional error/awkward lg in a blogpost or a 'standard' article, but I don't think it would be acceptable when it comes to authority sites.

Still, I really don't believe that someone's correctness and readability depends on their country of origin. I'd say it has to do with an individual's education and their way with words. Granted, native speakers are usually capable of producing content much faster, but the same quality may be achieved by a foreigner who pays enough attention and actually cares enough to look something up when in doubt.
