Does consistency matter If content isn’t great?

In my opinion, consistency helps you to grow, but you should also improve your quality day by day.
I’m still figuring this out too, but from what I’ve seen it seems like consistency helps you learn faster, while quality is what actually makes people stick around. Feels like a balance — posting enough to improve, but not just posting for the sake of it.

From what I’ve seen, consistency alone can’t really save average content. Posting often helps the algorithm understand your account, but if the posts don’t hook or provide value, reach and engagement usually stay flat. A better approach is consistent quality — even if that means posting less. One strong post that people watch, save, and comment on will usually outperform several average ones.

Consistency is everything, quality of course matters but if you post one quality video nothing will happen. Post 100 quality videos you have 100 chances of something going viral

Consistency + engagement always wins. People don't bother about quality or creativity as long as the content is engaging.

Well, there are agencies with Models that just post trending content; and preform 2-3 uploads within 8 hours. However, it still is vital to post content that your followers like and not just find spam. That is vital when it comes to keeping your followers engaging with the posts.

I think consistency and quality both matter a lot because consistency just increase the number of posts if your content is average, but if your content quality is excellent and you stay consistent you will succeeded very soon. You should make your content better to attract and engage more people. You can also post less but your content quality should be high so that more people stick around it and you got a high reach.
consistency matters because it gives you reps + data, but only if you hit a minimum quality bar. i’d keep a fixed cadence (like 3x/week) with a simple checklist (strong hook early, one clear takeaway, decent title/thumbnail), then review every 10 posts and double down on what gets saves/comments. volume is for learning; quality is what makes people stay.

I think posting regularly already helps you grow, as it helps you maintain audience engagement and analyze their needs. However, improving and gradually developing quality is essential, so I think you should focus on quality and perhaps reduce consistency for a while at first if you're not used to it.
