Does Coinbase Commerce need KYC?

I'm looking to start accepting crypto payments and am deciding between Coinbase or Blockonomics.
Coinbase would likely be the best option but I'm unsure whether they ask for KYC or not and have seen contradictory info about whether they do, with some people saying it's required and some people saying it doesn't require it.
So does anyone know if they would require it, preferably someone who has actually used it so I know it's accurate.

Use btcpayserver. Free to use, your own keys and you don't give explanations to anyone.

It can also be used with shopify and woocommerce last time i checked.

I used it for 2 years. Theres no KYC. Nobody asked nothing. My monthly trans. was like 2-3K. I used it with a Woocomerce website.

Gotta love when people don't make any effort to reply to the actual question.

You don't need to do KYC. No documents required.

Nothing in their FAQ suggests KYC is needed at any point.

I'm using Coinbase commerce for all of my websites, it's easy to use, Don't need KYC, and can easily transfer my incomes to Trust wallet, or any other wallet you have
