Does cloaking still work with all the Google changes?

I was wondering, does cloaking still works despite G have roll out many updates over the years? 6 - 8 years ago i could not more agree that cloaking is working? why would someone want to do cloaking that he/she knows that his site going downhill?

If you're talking about cloaking organic traffic, then, you're right, it's pretty a waste of time. However, nowadays, cloaking is mainly used for paid traffic from the vast PPC & PPV Networks. Usually, affiliate marketers use such cloaking methods to get targeted traffic to their offers which are against the PPC networks TOS.

Common niches for paid traffic cloaking are: Gambling, Diets, WeightLoss, Adult Dating, Mobile Offers, Brand Bidding, E-cigs, etc etc, all the shady & profitable offers

Qingong, you need to put the work in yourself to find the threads to read through. If you can't do the work at an early stage, or if you think "one thread" will suffice, you're not going to do well with any of it. Don't take the easy/lazy way out, put in the work, learn, and profit.
