    Hey,

I wonder if anyone else is having a problem with Clickbank. Tell me how this makes sense:

    Hop Count: 1,450

    Order Form Impression Count: 290

    Order Form Submit Count: 8

So this means that I should have 8 sales at $20 a piece, which equals a total of $160.

I've just emailed Clickbank regarding this issue, and for them to credit back my account with the 8 sales I've made.

Anyone else having issues or problems similar to this? Anyone know what's happening?

The product is one of those facebook mafia wars.

Hmm... did you ever manage to get Clickbank to credit you the money?

    Blacksong,

I just contacted them a few hours ago and it's the weekend, so I'm expecting an answer by Monday. Have you had any similar problems?

oh yes... I remember someone asked the same question before...
He did contact Clickbank for help.

CB's reply was something like... sometimes the client's credit card is out of "funds" or rejected when payment is being processed; client's information was not entered correctly, .etc.

That reply kinda makes no sense to me though.

    Blackseng,

I just read those threads and it seems that there's more people with the same problem.

Well, I'll see what Clickbank says on Monday, and report it back here.

It doesn't make sense how it counts the order form submit, but then doesn't credit the account. I think somethings fishy with Clickbank, and most likely they take some of the money for themselves instead of giving it out to their affiliates.

I got 110 order for impressions.. 14 order form submit counts.. 6 sales.

Makes no sense to me either, they need to sort it out.

Usually it's someone trying to get the product using invalid cc info, the submit is counted but later in the process the sale bounces due that the incorrect info.

Hmmm...this is not the first time I heard something like this. Clickbank seems dodgy as hell. My buddy has a problem with getting credited for sales. He emailed them to complain and they immediatelly threw a couple of sale credits his way...how starnge is that huh:rolleyes:

This has been going on for years... don't count on CB as a long term money maker. I use them with my autoblogs, but I wouldn't spend any money promoting them.

As someone already pointed out, a Order Form Submit indicates a attempt of purchase, which does not necessarily equate a actual sale.

I see a lot of people complaining about shaving from CB, but I have never had a problem with them. Here's a breakdown that hopefully will help some understand about CB:

    1. Order Form Impressions = Whenever someone looks at the order form. So if someone clicks "buy now" on a site but then clicks the back browser, that's an impression. If you check click through to check to see if your aff links are working, that's an impression.

    2. Order Form Submits = When someone tries to submit their info to make an order. If someone puts in their info and it gets declined for some reason, that's a submit. If someone puts in their info incorrectly, that's a submit.

    3. Sale = When someone places an actual order and everything goes smoothly.

Thanks Yukinari84. The 'order form submits vs. sales' can be a source of confusion (not to mention feeling like you're being robbed) until you actually take a few minutes to understand what's happening to the hops you're sending to CB.

    Yukinari84,

I now have over 30 order form submits and over 3,000 hops impressions, and I HIGHLY DOUBT that everyone is getting rejected. The product I'm promoting is SUPER popular (Gravity over 300), so I don't see how they are all getting "rejected" and nothing is being credited to my account.

This is the first time this has been done. Before when I use to get 100 order form submits at least 80-90 were sales, so I don't get it.

Well if you HIGHLY DOUBT it, then I recommend you contact Clickbank Customer Support.

What I recommend you do is first buy the product yourself through your own link and see if you get credited the sale.

bobby, do let us know the results and any replies from clickbank. I personally experience some discrepancies in the stats when they first change over the tracking system last year. The sales count dropped dramatically. I have thus stop actively promoting through clickbank because of these issues. That was several months ago.

However, the stats started clearing up a few weeks ago. Seems that they have got their system back to normal now.

    So far so good. :)

Today, I had 10 order form submits and 0 sales! Normally, I would get at least 3 or 4 sales out of that many submissions.

Clickbank responded with "Sorry but there's no sales."
