I made a compliation video. The start was slow but it grew very fast, from 10 to 200 views a day. So i added a shortend clickbank link in the description. After a few days my video only gets 3 views/day. So i wonder is it because i added this link ? Can youtube recognize those links in description and dont list/suggest it anymore ?
Does clickbank links in description hurt your video ?

I would venture to say that yes, they probably could recognise it. However, I'm sceptical that it would account for your drop in views. Is your video still ranked in the same position? It could just be a natural 'drop-off' after the 'honeymoon' period new videos seem to enjoy before settling.

I never look at the desc when watching a video so it doesn't bother me.
